Godrej Agrovet launched Hanabi which is used to manage mites in tea plantation specialists to control red spider mites, a serious pest found in tea plantations. Produced in Japan, GAVL would make it available for tea planters in India through an in-licensing arrangement with Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan. Hanabi is already being used by Japanese and Chinese tea planters for managing mites in their tea plantations. Features and Benefits: Hanabi provides Rapid knockdown activity- a quick action formula that starts acting immediately after spray. Hanabi works on all lifecycle stages of mites- contact action, and kills all lifecycle stages, including eggs. Hanabi has a Longer duration control- rain fastness and ovicidal activity provide longer duration control. Hanabi has a unique WP formulation that is safer than ECs and other petroleum-based pesticides. Dosage: Tea: 200 Gm per acre ( Red Spider Mite) Cotton: 200 Gm per acre (White fly) Chilli: 200 Gm per acre ( Red and Yellow spider mite) Suitable Crops: Hanabi is suitable for crops such as Chilli.
