Py-Top is an insecticide that contains Pymetrozine 50 WG , which is used to control harmful pests and insects on various crops. Technical Name: Pymetrozine 50% WG Mode of Action: Py-Top acts by contact & ingestion & is translaminar & systemic. It paralyzes the hind leg of the Brown Plant Hopper in rice, causes sucking inhibition leading to starvation & suppressing the egg laying. Py-Top shows acropetal systematicity within the leaf; rain washes into the leaf axil and redistributes to the lower parts of the rice plant. Py-Top controls all stages of aphids & the mobile stages of the whiteflies. Recommended Dose: Paddy – Brown Plant Hoppers – 120 (gm/acre)
