Description

Sarthak is a fungicide containing Methyl 15% and Chlorothalonil 56%, which protects crops against fungal diseases. It keeps the crops safe from viral infections. Technical Name: Methyl 15% + Chlorothalonil 56% Mode of Action: The biochemical mode of action is by inhibiting electron transport in the mitochondria of fungal cells, thus preventing the formation of ATP, which is necessary for the fungus’s normal metabolic processes. Chlorothalonil is a multi-site inhibitor affecting various enzymes and other metabolic processes in fungi. It inhibits spore germination and is toxic to fungal cell membranes. Dosage: 200-300g/acre, 1-2 g/lit. Time of Application: It is sprayed as soon as the signs of infestation are noticed. Depending on the disease severity, one or two sprays will be given at 10-15 day intervals. Suitable Crops: Used mainly in potato and chili crops. Target Disease: Leaf spots, blight, and mildew symptoms.
