It kills other fungi by reducing their growth and metabolic functionality, a process called mycoparasitism. Trichoderma Viride emerges around pathogens and degrades their cell wall synthesis by producing enzymes like celluloses and chitinases. The invading fungus eventually collapse and disintegrates.
