Hinthora is a broad-spectrum insecticide. Hinthora, which contains powerful ingredients Novaluron + Indoxacarb , is used to control a wide range of lepidopteron insects, e.g., Helicoverpa armigera and Spodoptera litura in tomato. It is a ground-breaking product with twin modes of action, i.e., contact and stomach. It also affects the chitin synthesis inhibitor by restricting the molting. Hinthora acts on the nervous system of the insect and paralyzes the insect, resulting in death. It also has a phytotoxic effect on the crop. Mode of action Novaluron is absorbed mainly by ingestion but shows some contact activity. Causes abnormal endocuticular deposition and absorptive molting. Effective against larvae but also has a toxic effect on eggs of some species and, in some cases, reduces fecundity. Indoxacarbin insecticide is active by contact and ingestion. Affected insects cease feeding, with poor coordination, paralysis, and ultimately death.
