Katyayani Thioxam is a broad-spectrum insecticide formulation that contains 25% thiamethoxam as the active ingredient. It acts on insects by interfering with their nervous system. Thiamethoxam 25% WG is a water-dispersible granule (WG) insecticide formulation. This means it is a dry, free-flowing product containing 25% by weight of the active ingredient thiamethoxam. Technical Content: Thiamethoxam 25% WG Insecticide Mode of action: Thiamethoxam 25% WG is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide. It acts on sucking, chewing, and some thrips and whiteflies in a variety of crops. It disrupts communication between nerve cells in insects by interfering with nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. This disrupts the insect’s normal function and eventually leads to paralysis and death.
