Katyayani Metarhizium Anisopliae is a Bio Insecticide. It is a Powder formulation containing high concentrations of natural live Metarhizium Anisopliae fungus. When applied to soil or leaves, it comes into contact with insects and penetrates the outer layer and causes death of insects. It is considered an eco-friendly alternative to chemical fungicides because it is safe for humans, animals, and the environment. Mode of Action: When spores of metarhizium anisopliae come into contact with an insect’s body, they germinate and penetrate the insect’s cuticle (the outer shell). Once inside the insect’s body, the fungus grows and produces toxins that kill the insect. The dead insect’s body becomes covered in a white mold, which is a sign of the fungus.
