Paclobutrazol 23% SC (Pep Star) Paclobutrazol is an extensively used plant growth regulator, especially in mango fruit. Its role is to inhibit Gibberellin synthesis and promote flowering and fruiting. Thus, vegetative growth reduces, the assimilates are transferred to reproductive organs, and the yield potential increases. How To Use: After the harvest of fruits, Pep Star must be applied ideally. Paclobutrazol is much more effective than the collardrench method. Apply the recommended quantity of Pep Star with 0.5 – 2 ltr of water per tree to the soil or trunk crack line around the base of the trunk. Or, apply Pep Star as Soil Drench. Dilute the recommended quantity of PEP STAR in 10 liters of clean water and apply it to a furrow 5 cm deep about 2 to 3 feet away from the trunk. Fill the furrow with soil after application.
